Painting with MF Paints: A Colorful Week in Upstate NY

Have you ever imagined spending an entire week surrounded by vibrant colors and fresh paint? If so, you’re in for a treat! Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to work with Matt Forshey from MF Paints and the talented crew at Colorize Benjamin Moore paint store on an interior painting project in the stunning landscapes of Upstate New York. Spoiler alert: it was quite the experience!

Getting Started with Matt

The week began with an awesome welcome from Matt Forshey, a long-time friend of mine. The atmosphere buzzed with energy, setting the stage for what was sure to be an exciting week. Matt’s passion for painting was contagious. With the project in motion, caught me up to speed and we jumped right in.

During our visit to the local Benjamin Moore store, Colorize, we were greeted by friendly staff eager to assist. Matt, familiar with the store, guided us through the aisles filled with an impressive selection of paints and supplies. We carefully selected the perfect shades for our upcoming project, taking advantage of the expert advice offered by the knowledgeable employees. The Actual Painting

It’s incredibly satisfying to get your hands dirty and witness a space transform piece by piece. We spent time moving furniture and covering floors, all while sharing laughs about our ongoing battle to avoid getting paint on ourselves (spoiler alert: it’s an uphill struggle!).
