Carlson Paint and Paper Hits the Pretty Boy Paint Festival in Lake Elsinore, CA!

We’re still buzzing from an unforgettable weekend at the Pretty Boy Paint Festival in Lake Elsinore, California on April 4th and 5th! Carlson Paint and Paper was proud to be a part of this amazing gathering of painters, creators, and vendors who make up what we affectionately call the Paint Fam.

From the moment we arrived, the energy was electric. The festival brought together passionate pros and industry innovators for two days of connection, creativity, and celebration. We got to meet and hang out with so many familiar faces and new friends, all sharing tips, laughs, and a mutual love of the craft.

A huge shoutout to the incredible vendors and sponsors that showed up and showed out—especially our friends at SurfPrep and Apollo Sprayers, whose gear and demos continue to inspire us. It’s always exciting to see what’s new in the world of tools and technology, and these brands are truly raising the bar.

But none of this would’ve been possible without the heart behind the event—Brian Cooney, owner of Pretty Boy Paint. Brian, thank you for creating something so special. Your vision brought together food, family, fun, and, of course, plenty of happy painting. It was more than just a festival—it felt like a reunion of kindred spirits, all passionate about elevating the painting profession.

We left Lake Elsinore with full hearts, new connections, and a renewed excitement for the work we do every day. Events like this remind us just how powerful community can be, and we’re already counting down to the next one.
