2025 Carlson Paint and Paper Fishing Trip: A Day to Remember

The 2025 Carlson Paint and Paper Annual Fishing Trip was nothing short of epic!

What started as a simple day on the water quickly turned into one of the most memorable gatherings of our paint family yet.

Held at the beautiful Captree State Park, we came together not just as painters and creators, but as friends and family. The morning kicked off with a delicious breakfast, thanks to the generosity of Corcione Custom Carpentry and other sponsors who helped fuel our crew for a full day on the water.

From the first cast to the final dock, the energy was unmatched. Laughter echoed across the boat, fish were reeled in (some bigger than others 😉), and stories were shared that we’ll be retelling for years. Whether you were on deck battling a striped bass or just soaking in the sun with a cold drink in hand, there was something for everyone.
